Nordic Track t80

Whilst looking for at new treadmills I found this pretty good entry point treadmill by Nordic Track that I wanted to share with you, and it’s under a £1000

Whilst working out, you can quickly adjust your incline up to 10%. My current treadmill goes to about 10% but doesn’t show the settings on the screen, so currently I have to guess which incline it’s on. The T80 also says that ifit will adjust your incline depending on the terrain, so presumably it also uses google maps to take you on your route? This model says its ifit compatible but not integrated, so I assume you have to purchase a wireless adaptor. (Online I found one for £80 and it looks like it just plugs into the side of the machine like a USB stick).

You can get one direct from their site. It needs some kind of subscription, which appears to be about £99 for a year. I have used the life fitness ones in the gym and really like the discover SE console, but the machines cost well into their 1000’s . I fold up my current one and this one also fold to 88 x 86 x 154cm.

The Nordic Track t80 even has a workout fan built in (so I could get rid of my standalone fan) some reviews say it’s great and a few say its not very powerful, but the majority seem to really love the feature. It also folds up to save space like my current machine. Its max speed is 18Km/hr (plenty fast enough for my little legs). It doesn’t appear to have Bluetooth on this model though. The one comment that stood out for me, is that people were saying that it was really heavy and took 2 people to set up and ages. Most people recommend that if you have a delivery and assemble for you option take it its worth the extra money, so if you’re on your own like me, you might want to take the assembly option or get a strong couple of friends around to help.
