Why is water important to our health?

Our bodies need water. Ideally you should be drinking around half your body weight (in lbs) in oz of water. In reality this is around 2 litres of water per day. (6-8 glasses). You should increase this slightly if you are exercising, its hot weather, pregnant or breastfeeding.
