Healthy Green tea and Stevia
If you like Arizona Green tea like me, making your own green tea can sometimes taste bitter in comparison.
I have found a healthy alternative with very little sugar or calories.

This is how I made it:
RECIPE
8 cups of boiling water and one green tea bag (any)
½ cup of Sukrin gold (which is Stevia but can be used on a 1:1 ratio)
2 tablespoons of honey (I used my forever honey as I find it sweeter)
3 tablespoons of lemon juice, its about 1 ½ lemons unless you have a very large lemon
I poured the boiling water into a heat proof container and added the green tea bag and left it for 1 hour.
I actually added the Stevia (Sukrin Gold) and the honey at that point as well as I thought it would dissolve well in the hot water.
Once the hour was up I added the lemon juice and I whizzed it a bit to mix it all up.
the I left it to cool and popped it in the fridge in a jug.
Tasted fantastic and makes a huge amount!
Its low in calories as the Stevia is only around 10 Kcals for the amount added plus the honey
Note: you can add ginseng extract but I didn’t and I will try with some other things like cinnamon and maybe maca to see what that tastes like.
Green tea is said to improve brain function, can be used for weight loss, can help with allergies, good for oral health and heart disease, helps with vision, can keep cancer at bay, and can ward off depression.

It has been used in many Asian countries for thousands of years as a medicine especially in China. It is supposed to be high in antioxidants and poly-phenols which make it beneficial for both health and beauty. I’m not doctor but it does taste delicious

NB Stevia has been linked to fertility issues, check out the links above if that’s of interest to you.
