One of the biggest changes in my life was discovering aloe vera gel drink. A friend of mine recommended it to me as I had suffered from IBS for my whole life and we were speaking about it one day. Prior to drinking the aloe I was on 8 imodium a day just to be able to walk 1.5km. At the time, the daily trip for the school run took me via 4 toilets and I would dread the ring of the railway crossing, which meant there was a delay in reaching the second toilet. Not knowing if I could make the next leg of the journey was a daily nightmare and one I would not want to repeat.

When I went on holiday I could only manage three days, as I could stop eating for three days and my tummy would empty and I could generally travel on an empty tummy, although there were a few sweaty airplane moments to be fair. Visiting different countries and not being able to eat the local food was a pain and if i did brave it on the last day, often it would be a literal pain in the guts! I wasn’t really living, more surviving.

A number of times I would be sitting feeling fine and the net sweatily panicking where I could get to the toilet. Sadly, there were a few times I didn’t make it, much to my horror and humiliation.

On a self improvement workshop (that’s for another day), I met a woman (Helyn) who helped me no end at the “retreat”. We became friends and around the Christmas after the event I noticed she was doing a few things and asked her about her business. It turned out to be related to Aloe Vera and she suggested I tried some, which I did. I was pretty impressed and after years of tests cameras up and down, radiation capsules and all number of other things, the doctors basically said, you have to get on with it. I had nothing to lose. It didn’t cost very much and there was a guarantee for two months if it didn’t work. So I signed up and got some.

Once I started to drink the gel, (which didn’t taste all that great) I noticed my tummy calmed down and for me, it was pretty fast, like hours! These are of course my results and I suppose everyone is different. Anyhow, I drank around 60ml and in a day my tummy didn’t have the cramps and after three days I was super impressed as I had stopped taking all of the imodium! I backed off to around 30 ml and as first it did clear me out a little. But it left me with a feeling of real wellbeing.

I drank it daily and then on and off and still do. I signed up, as I got discount as a “member”.( Here’s where you can buy it. ) Aloe has such a wide range of health benefits as it contains many vitamins, minerals and amino acids. the plain one i an acquired taste, but you can get other tastes and you can of course add it to fruit juices too etc.

NB I have had trouble with these links before, so if you have problems getting it to work use this link, (select shop now, select your country and then go to drinks and gels.) The one is use generally is the orange bottle, but for a sweeter taste I sometimes use Berry Nectar. There’s some other great tools and resources on the “use this link” too if you’re looking at weight management.

If you want to know anything else about how it’s helped me, do ask. You can either comment below or contact me direct. It has TOTALLY changed my life for the better, in more ways than just my tummy. I travel and rarely think about my tummy or food these days.
